Day 50: Layover day in Frisco, CO

This was a day to relax and be lazy.  Pat wasn't feeling too well in the morning due to the altitude change so we watched the Tour de France on TV, then got some breakfast.  We're staying at a nice hotel in the center of Frisco, two blocks off Main St. - the Woods Inn.

In the afternoon Pat was doing better so we walked down Main St. and through the art festival displays which were in the center of town.  In the evening we ate at a nice Italian restaurant in town, then went over to the condo where the group was staying for the daily map meeting.

A nice day of rest to be ready for more riding tomorrow.

  1. Mike,
Great pictures and I'm glad that both rides
over the passes went well. I can't even imagine
how awesome you must have fealt standing in
front of the Hoosier Pass Sign, and I'm not
    even a Purdue Fan! :-)
The pictures of Frisco look VERY familiar!
I have the same shot of the Slumbering Bear
statue with my wife standing where Pat is
standing. (That MUST be a popular Photo Hot
    Spot!)
Enjoy the ride up along route 9 today. My
Brother's Place is along the left hillside just
to the north outside of Silverthorne. That's
beautiful country up there for sure!

    Don
