Word came to the group yesterday morning and they relayed the news to me - Ollie's daughter flew in to be there and with family present Ollie's life-support was withdrawn at 11:00am, Thursday, June 7. Our TransAm group only met Ollie three weeks ago but his presence was large, full of life and touched all of us. I know there's a hole in each of our hearts and a big void in the group.
Our sympathies go out to his wife Pam, his children and all of his extended family and friends. Your loss is far greater than ours. Hopefully our photos can show the joy Ollie was living in his final days. Rest in peace!
